Hiking is a wonderful way to explore the Sangre de Cristo mountains just west of the ranch property. Our access connects directly to the Rainbow Trail. Like its namesake, Colorado's Rainbow Trail arcs through the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, providing roughly 100 miles of outdoor fun. If you are a fisherman this is a great place to catch that trophy trout! Hiking trails are all around us giving you the possibility of a different hike and view for each day you stay! Interested in fishing? The Rainbow Trail offers plenty of that, too. Many side trails lead visitors up to mountain lakes and streams for fishing, and during hunting season, games men will find plenty of bear, deer and elk nearby. TRAIL RIDING Horseback Riding Is A Great Way to Enjoy the Spectacular Colorado Mountain Scenery at this location! Available seasonally ~ Late May through September ~ weather depending Call 719-250-4872 to Schedule Groups of four to six in size are taken on a beautiful one or two hour riding session through the forest near the ranch. Longer rides can be available by request. Children under the age of 8 will be accommodated with a ride in our round corral under the supervision of a lead-guide. RIDING LESSONS AVAILABLE STARTING JUNE 10TH, 2020! Rates are $55 per person per hour for those staying on the ranch and $75 per hour for non-staying guests.
